Gemma is an award-winning leader in social impact, passionate about aligning finance, strategy and community voice to create meaningful change. With over two decades of experience spanning global organisations and local communities, she supports investors, funders, social enterprises and charities to innovate, collaborate and deliver lasting social value.
William Lana
Impact Investment Director
William worked in the City in the early 90’s and then for the EU Commission in Brussels for 5 years on financial projects in the former Soviet Union. He co-founded the first organic textile business in the UK and he believes it is possible to work with the dynamism of entrepreneurs to both nurture biodiversity and grow financially viable businesses. He’s been a Trustee of a number of environmentally focused charities and ultimately believes that it is possible for humans to live within planetary boundaries and have more fulfilling lives. Gratitude, an awareness of enough, a respect for purpose, and a cultivation of adventure helps him to live in this time of what Joanna Macy calls the Great Turning.
Shishir Malhotra
Investor
Shish has worked in impact investment for the last 10+ years and cares deeply about investing capital purposefully. He joined Rewilding Wealth in 2023, and currently supports the team to source, due diligence, and monitor its impact investment portfolio. Alongside this he continues to work with other investors, social business, and charities on a variety of impact-focused projects.
Rafael Vargas
Land Manager
Rafael combines biology and forest ecology expertise with BASIS certifications in soils, water, and sustainable land management. Specialising in community-based forestry, natural flood management, and land stewardship, Rafael integrates scientific knowledge with practical field experience to promote healthy ecosystems and habitat conservation using a catchment-based approach.
Robert Fraser
Deal Team
Robert is an agroecological farmer, charity CEO, and social investment specialist focused on regenerative agriculture. At Rewilding Wealth, Robert focuses on due diligence and building the portfolio of agroecological and regenerative food system businesses. As Executive Director of the Real Farming Trust, he supports the transition to fairer, climate-positive, resilient food systems by backing agroecological farmers and enterprises. He also designed and raised the funding for LEAP, a social investment programme providing integrated capital to regenerative food and farming businesses.
